Michael Temperley, 15, of Low Fell, Gateshead, died after he was locked in a waste container, which was then set alight in July 2003 in the 'Team Vally Trading Estate, Gateshead'.
Michael Temperley attended Joseph Swan School in Gateshead.
All teachers and students of Joseph Swan School commented that Michael was a popular and bright student, always smiling with a big cheeky grin. He will be sadly missed and will never be forgotten.
Joseph Swan has suffered a great loss, Michael will never be forgotten.
A memorial banner was placed in the main corridor 'The Street' of Joseph Swan School.

When I graduated University this year, I thought of you.
You were such a bright lad and I feel anger and sadness because this is what you should of been experiencing.
Every time I succeed at something I think of you!
I replay our final weeks together in my mind: the radio competition we won at school, the class photo we took for Mr Lambert, bumping into you as we were leaving school that day.
I think Mr Lambert will treasure our form photo forever...it was fate that we were all actually in that day for the photo!
I miss you and I hope you are proud of my achievements, I did it for you Temp and I always will.
